DestiNet, the Exeter-based Internet and E-commerce solutions provider has gone live with a new website at www.destinet.co.uk that promotes its advanced online business solutions capability. The site builds on the strong brand awareness the company has built up since it was formed just over three years ago and reflects the comprehensive nature of the service that it provides today.
The company's current client list includes such high profile organisations as The Royal Bank of Scotland Group Plc (Lombard), IDN Telecom Plc, English Regional Arts Board, Nationwide Access and Alpha Telecom. Its work for MyCallSavings.com, was recently awarded Site of the Day status by BBC Radio and featured prominently in a Daily Telegraph review of distinctive websites.
The new DestiNet site demonstrates that there is much more to delivering a web solution than merely designing a site that looks good on the screen. It requires complete understanding of all of the Internet technologies, hosting capabilities, back-office integration expertise and expert technical support.
The company's Managing Director, Trevor Munday says: "Unlike many website companies, we are a software led business that utilises the skills of in-house graphic designers to produce fully integrated e-commerce solutions." He continues: "We are constantly looking at ways in which delivering a service online can profitably benefit the client. We then design and develop the application software and interface to enable that service to be delivered."
He concludes: "In addition to web design and development, software and application development, our services include web hosting, co-location and the provision of dedicated servers and an ISP service."
It is just 18 months since DestiNet launched its previous website, underpinning the company's contention that to maximise a site's impact and traffic it needs to be constantly changing and developing. Sales and Marketing Manager, Gillian Woodland comments: "It is a sad fact for many businesses that once their website goes online, little or no attention is paid to even updating it with the company's latest news or new products." She concludes: "An important part of DestiNet's offering is its consultancy service, which helps to ensure that every client's online solution is a marketing initiative that delivers positive business benefits"
DestiNet has recently relocated to new larger premises to accommodate the needs anticipated. The relocation follows a doubling of the company's workforce during the past year, with the addition of extra design and programming specialists and a boosting of the project management and marketing functions.
